Combination Systems: What is it, and what do you need to know?

Wednesday, April 30 | 1 PM (ET)

A combination system is when one panel is designed, installed and listed to provide both fire alarm and security functions. Although these are permitted by NFPA and UL, the installation of these systems have a number of rules that must be followed. And, some states, such as California, may not allow combination systems so make sure you know the rules in the areas you are working in.

This free 60-minute session will introduce you to some of these special conditions that you need to be aware of before installing combination systems. This includes some of the licensing challenges and manufacturer’s instructions.
