This certification class includes two days of expert instruction from AFAA’s Merton Bunker, course materials and your certification exam access.

Class Details:
The Fire Alarm Inspection, Testing and Maintenance (ITM) Certification Program introduces inspection, testing and maintenance, a review of equipment and installation requirements, inspection requirements, an maintenance and record keeping.

This program is intended to keep fire alarm ITM personnel cur­rent with the rapidly developing “state-of-the-art” interior fire alarm systems. It is also designed to enhance the professional­ism of the industry through knowledgeable inspections and testing. This program provides an up-to-date review process that stresses practical applications of the information presented.

This two-day program provides personnel engaged in ITM activities with the knowledge necessary to prepare for the IPSI certification credential examination.

The Fire Alarm ITM program consists of a series of five chapters, each followed by a short, multiple-choice quiz (chapter quiz). Each chapter is designed to assist you in furthering your per­sonal and professional growth, as well as your competency in the principles of fire alarm inspection and maintenance activ­ities.

The Fire Alarm ITM program uses a simple yet effective com­munication approach. Each chapter is an instructor-led presen­tation and is fully supported by visual aids. The contents follow the sequence of the instructor’s discussions of visual support.

If you need to cancel your online training registration, please do so 48 hours prior to the start of the training. Less than 48 hours may result in no refund being issued OR you may incur a refund processing fee.
