Call for Papers and Board Application now OPEN!

Our 2026 Annual Fire Expo is going to be in Indianapolis, Indiana at the Hilton Indianapolis Hotel & Suites. Please take note of our dates as they are shifting from starting on Monday to starting on Tuesday. We will kick things off Tuesday, April 14th and conclude on Thursday, April 16th.

We are now accepting presentation proposals for our 2026 Annual Fire Expo and applications for our Board of Directors. Click the corresponding links below. Please note, you must be a current member with AFAA to apply for our Board. Deadline for both is Friday, August 22nd.

If you are interested in presenting at our 2026 Annual Fire Expo, please submit your proposal by Friday, August 22nd. Proposals will be reviewed by our Executive Committee and selections will be made by the end of August. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.

AFAA Members now have the opportunity to apply for a Board of Directors position. We have 5 seats to fill. Applications will be accepted until Friday, August 22nd. Applications will be reviewed by our Nominating Committee and applicants will contacted after that time.
