This free 60-minute class will review the notification appliance requirements for Audible and Visual Appliances, as referenced in the IBC and NFPA 72. Attendees will learn or reinforce skills to aid in the design, layout and installation of fire alarm systems.

Merton Bunker | Senior Discipline Enginee | Coffman Engineers
Merton Bunker is the Senior Discipline Manager for Coffman Engineers, based in Raleigh, NC. He has 40 years of engineering experience, including seven years at the National Fire Protection Association as staff liaison to the NEC (NFPA 70 and National Fire Alarm Code (NFPA 72). He is active in codes and standards development and is the former chair of the Signaling Systems for the Protection of Life and Property Correlating Committee (NFPA 72). Merton is the current Vice President of AFAA.
