Harnessing Artificial Intelligence for Enhanced Fire Safety
At a rapid rate, artificial intelligence (AI) is advancing from a research concept to an operational tool. In the fire detection and signaling sector, AI promises to enable smarter sensors, more adaptive detection algorithms, and predictive maintenance strategies that enhance reliability and reduce unwanted alarms. For system designers and engineers, AI-driven analytics offer powerful capabilities for applying and interpreting regulations, building data and occupant behavior, as well as optimizing system performance throughout a facility’s lifecycle. This presentation introduces fundamental concepts of AI and examines how the integration of AI in fire protection presents opportunities to enhance safety, mitigate risks, and safeguard lives and assets.
