A
FAA's Annual Meeting and Codes Conference is one of the premier conferences of it's kind. We offer an engaging and informative program with formal and informal opportunities to build your professional network, allowing you to learn, reflect, and engage with colleagues from around the country and beyond. 

The Embassy Suites by Hilton appreciates AFAA's mission and advocacy of smoke detection and fire alarm systems. Because of this appreciation, we were able to secure a very generous hotel room rate of $209.00 per night.  

The AFAA Board of directors has agreed to continue the 2016 pricing for the 2017 conference with no price increases across the board.

As the program outline and event schedule is finalized and approved, we will publish the information here. 

There are many sponsorship opportunities available for the annual meeting. As a non-profit organization, we appreciate the support we receive for all of our events. Your commitment to our mission allows us to keep registration pricing to a minimum.

Spouse and Family Activities

In addition to the Private Reception at the Monterey Bay Aquarium;  AFAA’s 2017 Annual Meeting 2nd Spouse and Family Event will be attending a combination sightseeing / wine tasting tour featuring the scenic Monterey Peninsula, Carmel and Carmel Valley. The sightseeing tour will first start along the rugged coast of Monterey, Pacific Grove and Pebble Beach (17 Mile Drive) where we will make stops at Bird Rock, the Lone Cypress and the Pebble Beach Lodge to enjoy the beautiful scenery and observe marine wildlife. After the sightseeing tour, we will then drive to Carmel Valley to visit Heller Estate where we will try their excellent selection of Monterey County wines and enjoy a picnic lunch in the Sculpture Garden. Along the way, we will discuss various points of interest, history and the Monterey Wine Country.

CEU Credit for Engineers, NICET and Others

The AFAA Annual Meeting and Codes Conference is recognized and accepted by American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC). 

The Registered Continuing Education Providers Program (RCEP) is a single comprehensive education management system for engineers, surveyors, design professionals and quality education providers. Managed by the American Council of Engineering Companies, the purpose of RCEP is to create a comprehensive registry of quality continuing education providers for engineers and related A/E/C industry professionals.

 

NICET and other organizations accept AFAA certificates of training and Annual Meeting participation for CEUs. Please check with your provider to verify CEU approval.

Exhibitor Opportunities


For this year’s conference we have many sponsorship and exhibitor opportunities available. Not only do our sponsors get their logos out in front of the attendees, these logos are also recognized throughout the year via our website and publications.  

Our electronic distribution reaches over 40,000 fire protection and fire code professionals worldwide.


Exhibitor Hours - Wednesday, April 26

Lunch with the Exhibitors 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm
Cocktails with the Exhibitors 4:30 pm – 5:50 pm

Each exhibiting company will receive one free complementary (full) conference registration. Each additional staff person will be billed at $299 ea.

Basic electric (one outlet) will be provided for each table.
